World War I
Ideas of nationalism between nations changed the political landscape of Europe and the world.
The development of the alliance system, militarism, and imperialism in Europe prior to 1914 led directly to the military conflict between the nations in Europe.
Propaganda was used to influence the actions of society throughout nations during World War I
Trench warfare combined with new technologies caused a stalemate and large numbers of casualties for both sides during World War I.
